SF New Tech - monthly technology event

Tonight I went to SF New Tech and I appreciated it. It was a good way to end the year 2010 in the US before going back to France for Christmas.

What is that?

"the Bay Area's largest and longest running monthly technology event and networking mixer for people who can't get enough of technology".

The format is very good: networking in front of beers and tacos, then 5 minutes pitches (with a big countdown on stage) + 5 minutes Q&A, free session for anyone who has something to say, and back to the bar.

It's an easy way to found co-founders, jobs and possibly press or funding. The timing is perfect, the spot is great with easy access. Congrats guys!
